I bought 300,000 IHG Reward Points while they were on sale with the 100% bonus, so I acquired a total of 600,000 points.
What the number means
It is the points and free nights already in our accounts, as a share of what our goal needs. A welcome bonus counts once it posts, not while we are still spending toward it. Points we plan to buy and cards we have not opened yet do not count until they happen. It is rounded down, so it never claims more than is there.
